Revox A77

The Revox A77 MK1, following on from the very successful G36 valve recorder, was introduced in 1967 and just over 360,000 were produced over a 10 year period. It was the first fully transistorised 3 motor, 3 head, 1/4 “ high end consumer tape machine from Revox utilising Studer heads / motors and specifically designed plug-in audio section boards which mounted on a motherboard (basis board) containing the various audio stage controls and switches.
