BASIC Control Systems kit for ALL Studer A80 machines.

A80  A80R, A80RC, A80VU 1/4", 1/2", 1" and 2" machines. This is the absolute minimalist kit!  It does not include any board mounted capacitors, resistors or update components that are in the detailed ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEMS kit.

This kit provides the following replacements for:

• all large power supply can capacitors
• all motor capacitors with special custom manufactured capacitors.  A80 takes 5 motor capacitors - more than any other Studer or Revox machine. 
• all troublesome suppression capacitors and resistors on capstan & reel drive, braking / contactor boards
• electronic braking contactor relay

• All motor chassis mounted motor capacitors

TOTALS:  Capacitors =18. Resistors, contactor etc = 5   

PLEASE NOTE: There are slightly different versions for single capstan  50 or 60hz and Normal Speed and High Speed versions.  You must specify the correct kit as motor capacitors change with hz and speed.
