Full mechanical Overhaul Kit for Studer A810

Many Studer A810's have a had a hard life in recording studios and radio stations. Whenever we do a full restoration / overhaul in our workshops we find that many of the bearings, damper action and brakes are a little sloppy, noisy or just tired.

The full mechanical overhaul kit enables you to replace, service & adjust:

• Reel motor bearings 
• Capstan motor lubrication
• Guide roller bearings - at last the correct RF516
• Tension arm damper drag agent / lubricant
• General lubrication of levers, shafts and bushes
• Pinch roller 

The kit comprises:

• 4x precision low noise reel motor bearings including circlips
• Special Klueber PDP 65 capstan motor lubricant - enough for a few applications
• 4x RF516 guide roller bearings and bellville thrust washers
• Special damper lubricant / drag agent for tension arms
• General lubricant for levers, shafts and bushes
• Pinch roller including spacers and shims - choice of 4 types
• A selection of shims for reel table and pinch roller arm fine height alignment  

We now have available specially made RF516 bearings like the originals as fitted to many Studer machines (A80 multi tracks, B67, A810, A820 etc). These work really great and are far better than the compromise lower height bearing + spacer which often is noisy and pernickety to get right.

Dont think that just doing a recap of the A810 is all that's required. The mechanical aspects are also important and often neglected.
